The Project
AR-U is an android app that will allow students and vistors to quickly discover more about the University of Nevada Reno's campus. AR-U's intuitive interface will allow users to point their device's camera at any of the buildings on campus and quickly identify key information. Want to know what the building's called? Want to see if the building has any vending machines or shops to grab a bite? Want to find a restroom quickly? Looking for a place to set up and charge your devices in between classes? Think AR-U!

Application Features
Building Scanning
Open the app and you're ready to scan.
- User is immediately taken to the AR scanning portion of the app.
- Don’t forget to Allow Location and Camera permissions!
Point the device to the Campus building you want to learn about.
- Name and Building code
- Building Hours
- Restrooms
- Food Options
- “My Notes”
- Users can select More info to learn more, or clear the screen and scan another building!
After a successful scan, the user is presented details about the building such as:
My Notes
Users can create their own Notes to associate with a building.
- Gives the user full customization in the information that is retrieved from a building.
- Great for general reminders.
- Allows the user to not be limited by the information we have provided, as they can add their own resources for future references.
When a Building is scanned, their notes are displayed to the screen!
